Summer of Stories

This summer, Frasers Plus Designer Outlet Swindon is bringing stories to life with Summer of Stories – a free, family-friendly experience designed to inspire young imaginations and celebrate the joy of reading.

Taking place every weekend from 25 July to 30 August, Summer of Stories is a vibrant storytelling destination where children and families can enjoy live performances, themed activities and welcoming reading spaces throughout the school holidays.

Join us each Saturday and Sunday for interactive storytelling sessions at:

  • 11:00am
  • 12:00pm
  • 2:00pm
  • 3:00pm

Our talented storytellers will bring exciting tales to life through immersive performances that encourage curiosity, creativity and a lifelong love of books.

A New Adventure Every Visit

With a different story theme featured each weekend, there’s always something new to discover.

Families can also enjoy our dedicated Summer of Stories space, where children can:

  • Meet Billy the Bookworm & Humpty Dumpty
  • Browse and swap books at the community book swap
  • Relax in our cosy reading area
  • Take part in themed activities inspired by each weekend’s story

The reading area will remain open throughout the summer, giving families a place to unwind and enjoy a good book, even outside of storytelling sessions.

Summer of Stories Trail

Step into a world of wonder on our Summer of Stories trail and hunt for all 8 fairytale characters hiding in the store windows. Once you’ve found them all, return your completed leaflet to Guest Services to unlock a magical little prize!
